Here at Winn Machine, we have a wonderful team that makes sure our operations run smoothly and that our products are delivered on time. This month we would like to spotlight one of our longest-serving employees, Stephanie Zeno. We wanted to let her share her experience in her own words.
What is your role at Winndeavor?
My role at Winn Machine as office manager is to enter orders, answer phones, purchase supplies and raw materials, scheduling, and accounts payable.
How long have you been at Winndeavor
In January, I will be at Winn for 14 years.
What is the one thing you wish people knew about machining?
I think one thing that always comes to mind is that a lot of people believe it is just pushing a button and that’s it and believe that everything should be done quickly. However, sometimes it’s more difficult than that. If it’s the first time we have run the part we have to figure out the most efficient way to run the part which can take time, and we can run into unexpected obstacles which can cause delays.
What makes Winndeavor a special place to work?
Winndeavor is a special place to work because they are family-oriented and are always willing to help you learn and grow. There are many different opportunities at Winn and always something new to learn.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and doing things like going bowling, to the park, or mini-golfing.
