One example of our dedication to nurturing talent and providing opportunities is our investment in young professionals like Jacob Young. Jacob joined Winndeavor when he was in high school. He had a keen interest in machining but didn’t have experience doing it. Starting with general tasks, his enthusiasm and potential were quickly recognized, and over the years, he has evolved into a skilled machinist.

Recognizing and Responding to Needs in Our Community
In July 2020, the team embodied the spirit of proactive environmental stewardship by coordinating an effort to clean up Stone Lake Beach in La Porte. This initiative was sparked by Dina and Damon Gasaway, who, after a visit to the beach, were disappointed to find it not as clean and inviting as hoped. Their immediate response was to organize a beach cleanup.
The team gathered their bags, rakes, and poker sticks and met at the beach. “It was good for the team to connect with each other and nature and to make a positive contribution to the community we live and work in,” said Dina.
When it comes to assisting our community, Winndeavor is always eager to lend a helping hand.

Winndeavor team member, Paul Kabacinski, used his own time to create these magnetic signs to help support our recycling program. He also plans to make small magnets to identify what type of material is running at each machine.
